Tonic Water & Corn Flour...

So Eva was watching kids do science experiments on youtube one night and made me this list ....

She said it was all I needed so I let her know in the morning we could go to the store and see what it makes....

My guess was that it would be that sludge stuff that goes from a liquid to a solid when pressure is applied ....

I was off but that was my prediction ...

We talked numbers ...

She paid with quarters she brought from her piggy bank ...

and I had her use her best judgement looking for where the ingredients may be....

I couldn't find corn FLOUR .... but as this was stone ground it was fine enough of a texture to still work ....

They thought the fizziness from the tonic was super funny for whatever reason but it was sweet to see...

It ended up making more of a moldable dough...

We basically just added each a little at a time until we got a texture that was just fun to play with ....

We made snowmen....

Balls....

Hamburgers....

and eventually busted out the playdough toys to finish up the fun....

We are storing it overnight to see if it keeps well so we will let you know!

it was fun and the mess was minimal!
