these turned out so cute!

What you will need

2 - 4 paper plates (depends on the size of your birds)

2 pipe cleaners for legs (optional)

paint

paint brushes or Q tips (i did this to try to separate colors a little more)

brown and green construction paper

Glue

I pre cut the branches and leaves...

I winged it on the shapes of the birds which were cut from plates ...

cut a larger and smaller heart like shape for wings also from the plate...

as well as a big and smaller littler triangle shaped beak ...

On Bubbas who is 3 I put dots on both Bs so that he could practice tracing...

but still be a part of the project...

I had Eva write for writing practice :B is for Bird"

We painted our birds bodies... wings... and beak before taking a quick swim break to let them dry...

Once dried... They got to glue down their branches and leaves ... and assemble their birds with glue....

Lastly they added their little pipe cleaner legs... I just cut them random sizes in pairs ....

Have so much fun making this with your littles!!!

Please feel free to share the finished product with our family...

We'd love to see them!
