Today's Snapshot

Eva Sky...

Thanks for at least showing up to class fully clothed...

So we started with Bubs tracing lines....

Identifying Colors & shapes....

and reading "Is Your Mama a Llama?"

While nailing a puppet show with puppets Eva & Bubs made together ...

Eva worked on Matrices ( spell check said matrixes doesn't exist lol) and we did some fun shapes and prediction work ...

The activity called for pennies but Eva needs repetition and it was an easy way to work in colors using the beads instead...

she'd count them and as she placed them on the shape say what color it was...

She also started by practicing writing 1 and 0....

That was the first part of the day ...

we took a lunch break where Eva prepped and helped me make dinner as well as her lunch ...

After we ate momma {ME} broke for a workout and they had free play time ...

We dove back in with some Geography and they LOVED this book ...

It was super simple and straightforward....

and their favorite part was after each topic you get to place a gold star in the table of contents once read ...

it's the little things...

keep in mind these activities are fast ...

not a ton of time is spent on each ...

i want to keep them engaged...

of course anything new needs extra time and repetition but I make sure to add all the things they love in between after they work on something challenging to them ...

After our 2 page geography lesson ...

We read The "C" Book and did a C is for Caterpillar craft project...

Ended the night with a swim and a quick lesson on fresh ground coffee...

It's not that we do all these little extra things...

More just including them in what we are already doing...
