E is for Elephant Craft

Alright .... so this was super fun!!!

What we used

a white and black sheet of paper ....

yarn or string

scissors

glue

old broken crayons

a cheese grater

a blow dryer

(optional items include toilet paper tissue or cotton balls for creating clouds... get creative and have fun!!)

I Precut the elephant and children silhouettes and let Eva do the rest (bubba is doing his today he was not in a create kinda mood yesterday lol)

She Glued the pre cuts and used the yarn to make a dress and elephant collar ...

She wrote an uppercase and lowercase Ee ....

To get these awesome little shavings for her hair and for the water coming out of the elephants trunk she used the cheese grater to make crayon shavings ....

Be sure to use glue to secure the shavings and give it time to dry!!!!

If not you will just blow the little pieces all over the place ....

Also pay attention to how many shavings your littles are gluing down .... you MAY want to move this outside in case of crayon splatter once you begin using the blow dryer....

Daddy even got involved so that made it extra special and extra fun ... <3

Once dry she started at a medium high setting to melt the crayons and moved to the highest hottest setting to splatter it a bit and create a little melted movement .....
